This July, our very own Coach Katie, who some of you may know from your classes, is off to Ghana for 10 days to volunteer!
Through the African Adventures Programme, Coach Katie, along with some of her school friends will be setting off this summer to help make a difference and change the lives of those elsewhere in the world.
Among other things, she will be helping renovate school buildings and classrooms, and help educate the children too!
Katie has been working incredibly hard in order to raise funds to get herself there, but needs just a little bit of help to reach her goals!
Traditional methods of fund-raising have been tricky due to Covid Restrictions but is steaming ahead with anything and everything that is possible right now and has set up a GoFundMe Page for if anyone is able to give anything to help get her to the goal!
