We had a fantastic turn out of 49 gymnasts enter our Trampette Competition at Oakwood Sports Centre in Horley on Sunday 21st July 2019, with some extremely good performances on display. Congratulations to all the children that entered, you were all very composed and did an amazing job! Thanks also to friends and family that came to give their support. The Grade 4 competitors raised the bar with some dificult moves being executed in front of the judges. The highest score went to Eloise Saunders (age 11) with a score 35.7 which gained her 1st place on the podium, followed closely by Eddie Eaton (age 9) and Carmen Bulger (age 10).
The highest scores of the whole competition were in Grade 3. Lily Fitzpatrick (age 9) and Kiera Bruce (age 10) shared a winning score of 36.35 – very impressive! A special mention also goes to Isabel Lavender (age 7). The Judges awarded her the Charlie Clifton Award which is presented to the gymnast who demonstrates great effort and determination in difficult circumstances and Isabel was a very worthy winner for this.
