On Sunday, 21st July 2109 we held our Annual Beam Competition at Oakwood Sports Centre in Horley. All 24 entries were from various Springfit venues. It was a great atmosphere with lots of family and friends supporting the children entering the competition and giving them moral support! We would like to congratulate everybody for being brave enough to enter and for performing their routines with confidence and enthusiasm. Congratulations to Sophie Day (aged 10) who gained 1st place on the podium for her Intermediate level routine on the full height beam and had the highest score of the entire competition; 16.85. Carmen Bulger (age 10) was also very impressive with her 16.75 score in the Advanced level, medium height beam. We would also like to mention Lara Dunning (9 years) who was awarded the Charlie Clifton award for showing great effort and determination. It was a very impressive level of entries across all levels. Congratulations to everyone that entered – you should be proud of yourselves, we are!
