Georgie Donovan will be known to many of you as she is not only one of our Head Gymnastics Coaches but is one of our Head Trampoline Coaches as well! She is a busy lady as she teaches Gymnastics at both our Horley and East Grinstead locations and Trampolining in Horley!
She has been doing gymnastics and trampolining since she was 5 years old and has always loved it and was inspired by the coaches who taught her to become a coach herself. Georgie is a life long Springfitter having been with the club ever since she first started, and she still trains in both disciplines and enjoys each equally as much as each other.
1 – What does your perfect day look like?
Sitting on a beach on holiday with family and friends, enjoying the sunshine.
2 – Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?
Probably would have to say Africa! I’d love to learn about the culture and the animals. I’ve also always wanted to volunteer out there – maybe join a care project in Ghana or Senegal! Hopefully it’s something I can do in the future.
3 – What animal best represents you and why?
Oh wow… No idea ! Maybe a bunny rabbit as I am pretty good at bunny hops in gymnastics!!
4 – If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Has to be Roast Dinners!
5 – If you could be a Superhero which one would you be and why??
Hmmmm that is a difficult one, probably Batman!
6- What makes you happiest?
It would have to be Family days.
7- How did you get into Trampolining/Gymnastics and what do love about Springfit ?
Well I tried ballet for a while but I wasn’t very good and I found it a bit boring, so my mum put me into gymnastics and trampolining and it turned out I was quite good at it and I loved it obviously! When I got old enough to be asked to coach it I jumped at the chance. I love that Springfit is such a welcoming and friendly club it makes my job a very enjoyable experience.
