Tumbling and Trampette Competitions

Springfit are delighted to welcome gymnasts from all our venues and classes to compete in our fun and friendly Tumbling and/or Trampette gymnastics competitions held in July every year. For future competition dates, please see our Club Calendar page.

Information about forthcoming competitions will appear here around six weeks prior to the next event.

  • Our next date for both competitions is on Sunday 13th July 2025. An official invite will be sent out on the 1st May.
  • They will be held in the Sports Hall at Oakwood Sports Centre, Horley RH6 9AU.
  • The tumbling competition will run from approximately 1.00pm-3.00pm. and the trampette competition will run from approximately 3.30pm-6.00pm.

The entry deadline is Friday 1st July 2025 or when 40 participants per competition are reached, whichever is first. We cannot accept late entries. Payments are non-refundable.

The events are open to gymnasts of the Intermediate, Advanced, Squad, Youth and Boys Gymnastics classes, who participate in a recreational class, training no more than three hours per week, in order to make it a fair and balanced competition.

What to Wear:

The Judges need to be able to see the correct form when assessing skills, so the clothing worn can really help with this!

Leotards are best and we have these available through our online store. You can also wear your own! If you aren’t comfortable in a Leotard, we recommend a t-shirt and shorts that aren’t baggy. Plain colours will be better, such as plain white or plain black.

 Bare feet is necessary.

Entry Fees:

The cost is £24.00 per entry, per event, and you can choose to do either tumbling, or trampette, or both events. They will run separately. This includes a certificate of achievement for taking part and medals for the first three placings. Please note: Payments are non-refundable, and the closing date is noted above.

Spectators are welcome. We charge £2 per person for adults and £1 for children, payable on the door, not in advance. This helps us be able to fund the event.

You can enter any one of five different ability grades.

Four jumps will be performed by the gymnast, as specified by the skills listed in each entry grade.

The judges scores for each move performed will be added together and averaged out.
The averaged score for each of the four skills performed will be added together to determine the final score.

Please speak to your coach for advice about which grade is most suitable to enter at.
