Oliver Williams joined Springfit back in 2011 when he was 3 years old. He started his Trampolining and Gymnastics journey with us, attending classes at our St Bede’s School venue. Oliver remained in classes with us at Springfit until 2014. He left Springfit due to a very busy training schedule and there simply were not enough hours in the day for Oliver to continue with us.
These are some words we received from Oliver’s mum Debbie when they left Springfit, ‘We have truly loved Springfit and the club has been such a big part of Oliver’s early life for the past 3 years.’
Oliver now competes at FIG Junior (13-16 years) level and has competed at the 2022 & 2023 British Championships.
In 2023 Oliver competed in the National Age Group Open where he placed 4th, this secured his place at the British Championships. He then went on to compete at the British Championships where he placed 10th after an unfortunate injury he sustained in his warm-up.
Oliver also competed in the 2023 English Championships, where he placed 3rd in both the Junior Male and the Synchronised Junior Male categories.
The most exciting news is that, Oliver has been selected for the 2024 Junior English Squad!

Even though Oliver hasn’t been in our Springfit classes for 10 years, we are all still rooting for him through his ongoing, exciting Trampolining journey. Everyone at Springfit is super proud of everything Oliver has achieved so far and we know there will be many more achievement in the future!
