“Less than 5% of adults participate in 30 minutes of physical activity each day; only one in three adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week.”
Here at Springfit we aim to meet the demand for our activities and get not only children but adults involved in both gymnastics and Trampolining.
For this reason we have increased the amount of adult classes that we currently have running at our venues.
We have gymnastics running at
- St Bede’s School
- Oakwood School
- Jubilee Centre (Combined G&T Classes)
We have Trampolining running at
- St Bede’s School
- Hazelwick School
Our newest class to start has been at The Jubilee Centre and is called combined Adult Gymnastics & Trampolining (otherwise known as adult combined G+T classes) This class offers adults the opportunity to participate in 30 minutes of gymnastics followed b 30 minutes of Trampolining.
Our adult classes are designed to offer every person no matter how experienced a chance to build on core aspects of physical development in a fun and friendly atmosphere. In your 30 minutes of gymnastics our Coaches will help you to do moves that you never thought possible! All classes start with a pulse raiser and a stretch preparing you for the main bulk working on gymnastics skills.
In the other half of your lesson you will work on Trampolining, Trampolining is an individual sport and you will work your way through a range of skills with an experienced coach working with you one to one, with time to practice and play around with the moves on other trampolines alongside your peers. Depending on what you would like to get out of your classes you could come along and perfect all your basic skills which incidentally would make the more advanced skills easier to learn, or you can just come for the enjoyment of being in the air and improving your fitness at the same time.
These classes typically do not follow the Springfit Proficiency award scheme, although coaches will be happy to work through the scheme if you would like to.
