We would like to congratulate Emily Dobb on winning our Elite Class Trophy.
This is a trophy awarded to a member of our elite class whom the coaches believe has performed outstandingly throughout the last year, displaying determination and great progress.
This year’s winner, Emily Dobb, certainly fits this description.
Emily’s head coach, Plamen, had this to say;
“Over the last year she had not only improved immensely but also with a very late notice only couple days before the Acro competition she was asked to join another partnership and take part as a base which she had never practiced before. Not only did she agree, but she managed to learn the routine in one session and their partnership came first at the competition. She’s been at the club for quite few years now, takes part in almost every competition and ends up with a medal on most occasions.She is a very hard working gymnast and manages to improve incredibly consistently despite training for only two sessions of gymnastics a week. She is a very friendly child who is considerate and caring towards her fellow gymnasts in the class, as well as very polite to her coaches. Her teachers all agree she is a very worthy winner.”
