Crawley based gymnast Amy Miller is impressing her coaches at Springfit Gym Club by earning a host of awards and showing improvement every week in the sport she enjoys most.

The nine year old superstar has progressed from the club’s beginners to advanced class in recent months, and topped all her peers by winning the progress medal last week. It is a distinction which is awarded to one member of the class every six months and is presented during a special class where parents are invited to watch.

Only a week later, Amy took part in her first tumbling competition with the club and won a silver medal, missing out on the first place by only 0.15 points. The event saw gymnasts of all ages and abilities perform several moves in a row, and was scored by an independent panel of judges from several local clubs.

To top a fantastic month for Amy, the Head Coaches at Springfit decided to invite her to their specialist “Elite” squad class where she can further her training and prepare for more competitions.

Amy was delighted to be chosen for the awards and squad class, and was most proud of her achievement in the competition. The sky is the limit for this keen athlete and she is looking forward to learning advanced moves at the club.
